Ted
Forrest is a US professional poker player and has had an outstanding career thus far. With three back to back WSOP bracelets won during the 1993 WSOP and another two in the 2004 series, Forrest is one of the top pro players in the circuit.
He is a well known high stakes player with limits as high as $100,000/$200,000 in addition to a specializing in heads up. He took down the $500,000 1st place prize by knocking out Erik Seidel and Chad Brown in the 2006 National Heads-Up Poker Championship.
Forrest is often referred to as Professor Backwards, because he often plays quite different than most other players. Early on in his career he was pegged as a maniac because he would simply play every hand. It was later that he told people that he did this not because he didn’t know any better, but because he could outplay his opponents...and he did.
Other accomplishments in his career include 5 final tables in the WPT, a PPT championship, and two appearances on High Stakes Poker. Currently Ted Forrest is one of the pro players with Team Full Tilt under the name “Ted Forrest"
